Our Story

It all started on an ordinary Friday afternoon. My wife and I were wandering through the mall when, out of the corner of my eye, I saw something glowing. I half-joked that I heard angels singing, but really it was my first-ever glimpse of an Apple Store.

I handed my wife my credit card, assured her she’d be better off without me for a while, and headed straight through the glass doors. What I experienced inside left a lasting mark on me. Everywhere I looked, people weren’t just observing they were interacting. iPads, iPhones, iMacs—each device was out of the box, ready to be touched, explored, and experienced. No glass cases. No “Do Not Touch” signs. No barriers.

And that’s when it hit me: this is exactly what life with God should be like interactive, engaging, and deeply personal. But too often, the way we pass faith on to children feels more like a museum than an Apple Store. Everything points to the past. Everything is fragile, roped off, and kept at a safe distance. Children learn about God as if He were a historical figure important, but untouchable. That’s not the picture Jesus gave us. When His disciples tried to keep the kids away, Jesus got angry. He pulled down the ropes, welcomed the little ones, and invited them to climb all over Him. He blessed them. He spoke life into them. He made Himself accessible. That moment in the Apple Store changed the way I thought about passing lasting faith to children and it eventually gave birth to Simple Faith. At Simple Faith, we believe that kids don’t just need stories about Jesus they need real encounters with Him. They need opportunities to wrestle with their questions, open their hearts, and experience God’s presence in everyday life. That’s why we create resources designed to:

Spark heart-level conversations.

Invite curiosity-driven exploration.

Connect families to evidence-based faith that is both historic and living.

Every devotional, card set, or calendar we make is crafted with one goal in mind: to help you take Jesus out of the box and make Him accessible to the children you love and lead.

We believe kids deserve 100% of Jesus not just the half that tells His story, but the half that helps them experience His power, His love, and His presence today.

This is what drives us. This is why we do what we do.

Because faith was never meant to stay behind glass. It was meant to be lived, explored, and experienced together.
